The BKK Basilisk series is a range of offset hooks designed for Texas rigging using worm-like silicone lures from the globally renowned fishing gear manufacturer BKK. The hook is crafted from high-quality materials using advanced technologies. Its surface features the Super Slide Teflon coating, making the hook smooth and enabling more confident penetration of the fish's mouth. This coating also imparts durability to the hook, protecting it from corrosion due to constant contact with water. Excellent sharpness is maintained even after catching multiple fish, thanks to the quality sharpening.
The model has a moderately thick wire, allowing for a successful conclusion to the battle with the trophy without compromising hooksets. Improved hookset efficiency and rig manoeuvrability are achieved through the elongated oval geometry of the hook and the barb directed towards the eye. This offset hook works best with worms and slender slugs. The series includes four size variations from #1 to #3/0, suitable for most silicone worm models. These hooks can be used not only in Texas rigging but also in classic jig setups.
