AS-04 Pike Hyper

Building on Decoy AS-03 Pike, widely recognised as the global standard for light jigging hooks, the AS-04 Pike Hyper has its design further refined with a thicker shaft, increasing its strength. While retaining the ease of use and reliable hook-setting attributes of the original Pike, this enhanced version is tailored for targeting larger species. It's ideal for jigging for big bluefish using heavy tackle, as well as for snapper jigging. Compared to the original Decoy AS-03 Pike, the shaft is two grades thicker, having an approximate 30% increase in strength. Its fine long taper design, paired with an impeccably angled tip, ensures swift and smooth hook sets. The hook's gape strength and contact area are amplified to reduce fish escapes, thanks to its quad-axis CF processing. The shaft's strength is further increased by a reinforced flat-forging process on the two crucial curves. The barb section is deliberately enlarged to prevent fish from getting off, and the hook is treated with highly corrosion-resistant tin plating and an AquaBlock coating, ensuring its durability against rust.
