The Ecogear Iwashi Head is a fish head-type jig head developed for saltwater games. It has a low centre of gravity, making it suitable for swimming in mid-depth waters to bottom bumping. It's versatile and can target a wide range of species, including Seabass, Rockfish, and Seabream.
The design focuses on preventing hooks from coming off, featuring a flat and thick hook shank with a sharp, barb-tipped hook point. Additionally, the entire hook is nickel-plated, providing corrosion resistance and durability. The design includes a slightly smaller hook compared to the head size, allowing it to reach areas that traditional jig heads couldn't with soft lures around 4 inches (10cm).
Equipped with a press-edge keeper, it ensures the worm's details remain intact while preventing any unwanted shifting.
